Ari Lennox Unleashes On "Obsessed" Joe Budden, Calls Him A "Failure"

Ari Lennox unleashed on Joe Budden and called him a “failure.” Ari clapped back after Budden criticized her for her comments regarding Rod Wave‘s tour. The talking head insisted the singer should’ve been grateful to open up for Wave’s arena tour instead of complaining. Lennox fired back, alleging that the retired emcee is “obsessed” with her.

“I don’t know what Joe Budden’s obsession is with me, but what I will say is that somebody needs to tell him to stop touching them dogs,” the Shea Butter Baby singer said. “He’s weird, and he’s gross. He has smoke mouth. He’s disgusting! And he’s a failure, like Drake said.”

“Everything I do — there’s a million people to talk about in life. Like I can never just express what’s going on with me without him coming from behind the landfill that he lives in to say something. And I do not know why. He’s disgusting, and I know in my heart his breath stinks. Maybe I have to sue him. Is that what I have to do? Like get on my Cardi B sh*t and spend the bread to shut his smoke mouth up?”

Ari’s reference to Budden “touching dogs” is in regard to past accusations from his ex-girlfriend that he “plays with dog’s private parts.” In 2020, Cyn Santana allegedly filed court documents accusing him of bestiality.

During that time, Budden responded, refuting the claims. He insisted that he wasn’t into “f**king dogs.” “I don’t f**k dogs. I’m not here to talk to the people who believe I abused the very women I have taken care of. It’s just not who I am. It’s not who I’ve been,” he said.

As for Ari, the singer recently opened up about her experience on Rod Wave’s Nostalgia Tour. She admitted that she was “never comfortable” opening up for the singer and recalled being hit with trash on stage.”I just remember every show, just racing to get off stage, racing to get through my set. I started trying to communicate with the audience and then I realized they were getting angry at me affirming them,” she continued. “You’re getting angry that I’m affirming you? This is not my crowd. And it’ll never be. And that’s alright.

“It was tough, and it was heavy on my soul, especially the day when the bottle happened because that side of the stage, like, I felt the energy. It was just all darkness — that was literally the energy that was coming from the left side.”
