A $100 Million Fight: Legend Mike Tyson Says He Would Step In The Ring With Logan Paul For A $100 Mi
Former heavyweight king Mike Tyson made a spectacular return to boxing last year, stepping into the ring against Roy Jones Jr. in a fight that made a whole lot of money for everyone involved, now the boxing legend is saying that he's interested in a fight with Logan Paul, signaling that he would accept $100 million to take on the former YouTuber in an exhibition clash.
The legendary heavyweight king made his ring return after retirement in a tussle with Roy Jones Jr, but that doesn't mean he's done yet. Tyson has recently noticed the Pauls and has previously spoken with a fondness for the brothers, who are looking to continue their separate careers in the sport.
The Champion had a lot to say on his HotBoxin' podcast when rapper Freddie Gibbs asked if he would fight the Paul brothers, "Hell yeah," he said, claiming he would do it if the money was right, reports MMAMania.
" Well, that's the money fight, " said Tyson. "Those are the fights that make the money. Those guys have 75 million people watching them."
The Daily Mail is reporting that Tyson is looking to fight Logan Paul specifically, having noticed the enormous profits that can be made from the fight. It is Logan Paul that seems eager to spar with top legends in the sport, while his brother Jake is trying to carve out a semi-legitimate niche in professional boxing.
"Yeah. Hell yeah," Tyson said. When Gibbs questioned if Paul would accept it, Tyson laughed. "They would. That would make a lot of money... A hundred million dollars, they do anything, they don't care about being beaten up for a hundred million dollars."
'Iron Mike' presumably took notice of this Summers lucrative Miami showdown between Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul, which got a lot of attention and made both parties a fortune. Paul held his ground in the fight, but no winner was declared.
When Mayweather spoke about fighting Paul over another boxer, he quipped, "I can fight a fighter right now and I can guarantee myself $35million. I can eventually probably make $50million for just a regular fight," but then expressed he could make substantially more with an exhibition fight, "Or me and Logan Paul can go out, entertain, have fun and make nine figures $100million or more."
